The Big Read
Sheri went to the library to pick up “To Kill a Mockingbird” for me. The database told her it was in repair so she asked the librarian about it.
It was true, the book was not available. However, “To Kill a Mockingbird” happened to be the current book in The Big Read.
The program from the National Endowment for the Arts is basically a program designed to get more people reading. So the librarian gave my wife a paperback copy of “To Kill a Mockingbird” for free. What a great idea!
Now if I can finish it by April 1st, the library’s reading club will discuss on the evening of 4/1…
